Awesome little pet store in Appleton. Have tons of common and exotic fish, like literally tons of them. Both saltwater and freshwater. Also usually have a good selection of reptiles and some small mammals/rodents and a few species of bird. They even currently have a tortoise that roams freely about in a certain area of the store. Only downside to even mention is that the parking lot in front of the store is somewhat small and difficult to maneuver, however there is a nice sized lot just behind the store that makes up for the front lot.
Great place if you're looking for your more exotic fish. Also have larger ones for sale rather than the tiny ones you find in your regular pet stores. I truly wish there were still more small business pet stores like this around in the area.
Brady from Just Pets was such a great help in educating me on what pet was right for me. He was very helpful and knowledgable. He is not there just for the sell, but to make sure you know the pros and cons of each and everyone of those little guys. Thank you for your professionalism!
Bought a Californian rabbit from this place of July 1 and he is the best pet I've ever owned. When I bought him he was healthy, courious and social. He wasn't skittish at all and groomed my arms within the first hour of my owning him. I 100% recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy a new pet.
Amazing selection. Good prices on some things.I had to edit this, regretfully, and go from 5 stars to 3 simply because of the attitude of one older male employee (or owner? Manager? Who knows?) I have seen him in there several times and he is always spastic and never seems like he really wants to help anybody. Went in for pinhead crickets earlier and was very rudely told that they were out of them and basically pushed out the door. I understand that this sort of business is a lot of work, but if you don't take a minute to try to help customers or at least be semi-cordial to them, you'll find that you won't have many left.
