I can't believe how dirty the police officers are at this department. They made false statements on a police report proven with their own body cameras. I will never talk to these cops, Absolute liars.
I was a volunteer firefighter/emt for 10 years in my hometown in Illinois. I got to see first hand how police officers conducted themselves and also how the people they have to deal with treat them. Officers are human beings. If you treat them with disrespect they, in my experience, are required to ignore their personal emotions and act professionally. In my experience interacting with people I know that this can be quite difficult at times. Officers are people who are trying to make a difference and serve their community in a thankless profession. They deserve our gratitude and support. Where would we be without them? Many thanks to the women and men who risk their lives every day to protect us. I
Took some prescription meds to the drop off inside front entrance. Service from the person working was lousy, she was not friendly. I should not be surprised by this as this is not a retail business and if you don't like their customer service what are you going to do, go elsewhere??? Don't expect a smiling face if you stop here to ask questions, drop off old meds etc. They don't have to be nice its the police department. As far as the actual police officers, some are nice and some are not. They seem to be hiring a lot of new young officers, lets hope they have the mentality of serving the citizens and know who pays their pay check vs. I am a cop mentality and nothing else matters.

The chief of police is a racist man who has screamed racial slurs at individuals that he dislikes. You all call This An upstanding citizen an upstanding officer I call this a disgrace at this moment. We entrust people like him to protect and serve and on the contrary what we get is abuse of authority. I pray someday someone sees him for what he is in fact rather than just what he portrays in the public eye. I pray in time he gets what he deserves for having such ill will in such high of a position. We all have the right not to like a person or certain people. However when you have hold of such a position and such a rating of being so excellent I would think that you would actually give excellence to all not just those you choose. We Trust in our laws to provide Serve and Protect US and today I am sad to say though I have never committed a crime in my life I'd be terrified to do such a thing not because of the crime or the improper action on my part, for my doings, but the individuals who will be in charge of My Punishment being able to make up charges and stories and accusations and get away with it that has got to be wrong somewhere in someone's eyes not just mine. so someday I hope he gets what he deserves. Or even that he open his eyes and realize no matter your position, no matter the individual, no matter your dislikes. Be human be fair and know, Everyone has a family that hurts and cares and suffers and no one deserves an injustice from anyone but especially not from our law men whom we are to trust in. God bless this man and heal his heart mind and soul. Amen
