We have been taking our dogs to North Heights for many years and have been very satisfied with the care received. From the receptionists, to the techs, to the vets, there is a friendly and accommodating atmosphere. Dr. McDermott is great, very compassionate and easy to work with. Always taking time to answer any questions or concerns we have.
After moving I needed to find a Vet in the area, my coworker mentioned North Heights and I decided to give them a call. I will tell you they are great! I brought my dog in, because she was not eating and broke one of her teeth. The staff was great from when I first called, to the visit, the day I dropped off my dog and after surgery. They kept me informed through out the full process and also how much I would be expecting to pay. They did such a great job with her. I highly recommend bring your animals to the staff at North Heights. Dr. Amanda was great to work with!
now that i'm a pet parent of my own this was my first time needing a veterinary. as a teenager my parents brought our family pets here to North Heights, and unfortunately we had to put our cat down. he was old and fragile, fluid was in his lungs. North Heights was more than accommodating from letting us say our goodbyes to even after our cat had passed, they sent us a card in the mail. they are all very attentive; they really do care about the well being of your pet, as well as concerns as a pet parent. i will always recommend them. we recently took our older dog in and all my worries were put at ease, and everything they explained was in a manner that i understood. overall 10/10 recommend.
I work in the veterinary field so naturally we tend to look for or expect certain things. North Heights went above and beyond in my optimism. I knew our cat had conjunctivitis but I also need he needs to be seen for medications. I also know you shouldnt ever leave an eye issue untreated. They were the only hospital in the area who could see us besides going to emergency (our own vet was fully booked). We were seen promptly and everyone was super nice. The vet was sweet and down to earth. Our cat was super comfortable in the practice (which is rare for cats in general). Services for amount paid were exceptional!!!! I know what things cost and without regular healthcare coverage like their human companions, vet care is usually costly. Highly recommended!!! Sorry I cant remember the Dr. we saw but she was very sweet!!
We brought our cat in because she wasn't eating or drinking and very sick looking. They got us in the same day we called and were very caring and compassionate! Ran tests, gave her a few shots for various things, by the next day she was up and moving around and even started eating again. Certainly gave us peace of mind that all was ok with her. Definitely recommend North Heights!
