I contacted Drucks to fix 2 leaky hose bibbs, front and back of the house. They charged over $260, which I paid. Unfortunately with the late spring snow storm, I didn't have a chance to test their work. When I finally connected the hoses several weeks later, both of them still leaked. Drucks sent a more senior plumber to investigate the cause, and determined that both faucets would need to be replaced, for which they quoted an additional $400. When I declined to have that done, I was charged $62 for the second service call. Druck's reponse was that the warranty period had expired on the initial repairs, so they are no longer responsible. Now I have paid over $320 and both faucets continue to leak.
Over $1,400 for a 6 year electric water heater with installation? Are you out of your mind? I will never go with these jokers again. How convenient for them they won't quote a price over the phone. Stay away.
We had one of their master electricians come over early last month to give us pricing on a couple projects for our home. He was very friendly, kind and explained everything thoroughly making it easy for us to understand. We are very excited to work with them! Highly recommend
I set an appointment time for between 12 and 2 on Wednesday. I took the day off to wait for the plumber to arrive. I teach so I can not leave in the middle of the day. They called at 1:15 to say they were stuck at another job and may not make it. I tell them anytime is fine but I do need them that day as I had an appointment. I expected to just be pushed back. But then they called back after 4 to say that they would not get to me but could maybe do it next week. I ask why they could not come later. Said it was very poor customer service to set an appointment and not show up. I was told they could come that evening but would have to pay the after hours rates. I believe they should have come after hours at the regular rate as I had an afternoon appointment and they did not show up. I completely understand how another job may have taken longer than they thought. I would have been flexible on time. But to then charge ME more is ridiculous. We contacted 2 other plumbers but choose them as they had the earliest appointment. I still do not have a working sink or dishwasher.According to your response I did not mention you kept me informed. But as you can see above, I mentioned both of your phone calls to me. I also said that you thought you could get me in next week. 6/5 is not the "sudden service" you advertise. That is 6 days from the original appointment. I stand by my claim that it is very poor customer service to set an appointment then not come any time that day. I would have made myself available later that afternoon or evening. I completely understand that sometimes other jobs take longer than anticipated. That is not the issue. The issue is she offered for someone to still come that evening at a premium. I should not be charged a premium rate because you could not keep your appointment. In the future I suggest you still keep all the day's appointments at the regular rate even if it goes past regular hours. If that had been offered to me I would have written a glowing review about how you squeezed me in despite your obstacles at the other job. I would have also recommended you to any friends and family who asked. As of now I can not.
My garbage disposal died over the weekend. I called Drucks on Monday and they showed up early on Tuesday. The service was timely, the service team was clean and friendly and they did the job as estimated. I couldn't ask for anything more - oh, and a one year warranty on the service and parts.
